Accepted and Host Family!

Wow, that was pretty quick... I was just recently accepted by AFS-Italy today and I received my host family. I think this was a much quicker process because I already went through most of the information papers with Japan.

But I have a Dad, Mom, two sisters and a brother. They're all around my age, too! :) No pictures but I am sure there will be some. And one of my parent's occupation's is a Doctor! :)
I will be living in Silea, Italy. (Where the red dot is.) :)

I probably need to get a Visa and start studying the language. I 'm still so loaded up on Japanese! XD lol

Ah, I am so looking forward to Italy.

Moving On

Hello, my name is Zakiyya and I am a sophomore at the School for Creative and Performing Arts! I was supposed to be going on a foreign exchange trip to Japan in March 2011, but due to the devastating earthquake I could not. So I chose to go to my second choice country of Italy for a year~ I am sure it will be just as great. :)
